Before your session

  • Avoid sugar for 2 hours beforehand.
  • Drink at least 2 litres of water an hour before.
  • Skip alcohol on the day of your treatment.

Afterwards

  • Take a light 15-minute walk.
  • Eat lighter than usual and avoid processed food.
  • Increase water to about a gallon a day and plan to rest.
  • Post-surgical clients: wear your compression garments.

Treatments are not suitable for clients with a pacemaker or metal implants, active cancer or ongoing chemotherapy, pregnancy or breastfeeding, an untreated abdominal hernia (abdominal area), varicose veins, or severe diabetes with loss of skin sensation. Please tell your technician about any medical condition during your consultation.
